Esco Technologies, the Esco office situated in South Africa, recently commissioned another successful fume hood project.
With a tight deadline of 6 weeks, both Esco Micro’s production team and Esco SA’s technical team, showed that global teamwork
will lead to a satisfied client! The project entailed an upgrade of the Physics department at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus. Team ducting SA, spent strenuous hours installing 22 Frontier DUO 4ft fume hoods, together with a complete extraction system. Space constraints, rainy weather and a long distance from home, didn’t affect the team’s focus and dedication. Another five Frontier Acela 6ft units were commissioned at the Botswana University of Innovation & Technology, located in Palapye.
The team is looking forward to the next fume hood project, located in Maputo, Mozambique, where 13 hoods will be installed, including 2.4m Frontier Duo’s and a Perchloric acid unit. This forms part of the upgrade of the Chemistry Department, at the Eduardo Mondlane University.
